Module 3

In Week 1, I checked out the Module 3 Tutorial Video 1, TED talk and articles to get me a better understanding of what should I do, also P5 coding. The topic I'm doing is Emotional Landscape. This concept transforms your emotional and sleep data into an abstract landscape that forms around your face. And I also add the element of Stressful. I did not came up a full plan and ideas of this stage because we have two choices for this project. And now I just want to try different methods. If I decided to do P5 coding for this project, I will make something more complicated or furthur into this topic.

In Week 2, I checked out the Module 3 Tutorial 2-4, and used Scaniverse to scan my objects. Used Meshmixer to fix my object, and used C4D to clean my objects.

In Week 3, me and my group chose an article that being provided. We read the article and plan out the duties each person is taking responsible for. I

Activity 1

I checked the TED video and this article which give me a better understanding of what should I do I used Procreate to draw out the ideas. I have four emotions for user to choose for a day: Happy,Calm,Angry and Depressed. They will represent as circle. I used Procreate to draw out the ideas. I have three sleeping durations, user can choose how long they sleep last night I used Procreate to draw out the ideas. I have four levels of stressfulness Making Happy in Photoshop Making Calm in Photoshop Making Depressed in Photoshop Making Angry in Photoshop And I used Go Live to check it and find out it's too small After editing it I found out this time is too big AFter editing again I found out this size is good so I appy this size to the other emotions I make the orginal design of sleeping durations 1 It does not looks good I editing it in illustrator because it's much more easy. I make the shape more fit to the emotion, circle. Since my idea is to put the circle as the base and the other things will place above it. After making the shape in illustrator, I copy it to the Photopshop and export from Photoshop. Making sleep duration 2 in illustrator then copy it to Photoshop and export from there Making sleep duration 3 in illustrator then copy it to Photoshop and export from there Making stressfulness level 1 in illustrator then copy it to Photoshop and export from there Making stressfulness level 2 in illustrator then copy it to Photoshop and export from there Making stressfulness level 3 in illustrator then copy it to Photoshop and export from there Making stressfulness level 4 in illustrator then copy it to Photoshop and export from there An image of all my elements after exporting This is how it looks like after I put them in the coding I deleted the other elements so it only shows mine Concept ideas of how it might looks like depend on user's choices I checked the video but I still don't know how can I adjust the position of different elements

Activity 2

Scanning preparation I scan a lot of objects I want to have an object releated with badminton, I used the bottle that collected the shuttles as one of my object but it did not go well after I scan it several times So I tried the shuttle, but after several tries it did not go well Same thing heppen when I switch to a different material shuttle I tried to scan my jade necklace but it also did not go well the back of my jade necklace I choose to do my badminton shoes instead and it turns out well But it still need different tries This is my second object, a bunny plushy This is my third object, an airpods case I put my object in Meshmixer but sometimes it will turns black I used Meshmixer but it did not fix my object Cleaning my polygons and move it a bit Since the Meshmixer did not help me to fix my object I fixed it by myself in C4D Object 1 after cleaning Cleaning my object 2 to remover the part I don't needed Object 2 after cleaning Object 2 after cleaning Object 3 before cleaning Cleaning my object 3 the part I don't needed Smooth the part that is bulge out Fill the gap Object 3 after cleaning Object 3 after cleaning
